It’s a great way to wake you up, exfoliate and nourish your skin while improving circulation! People love getting the scrub at cityWell in our cobalt showers!

Until then, try it at home!! What you need (you can get most ingredients at your local grocery store or pharmacy).

To Buy:

  • 1 quart of Epsom Salts
  • Dried (or fresh) rosemary
  • Grapeseed oil (olive oil works too!)

Essential oils of eucalyptus, peppermint & lemon. If you have lemongrass and rosemary oil that’s great too!

REVIVE RECIPE

In a bowl, pour about half a quart of salts, then add:

  • about 1/3 cup of grapeseed or olive oil
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons of fresh or dried rosemary- dried basil works too!
  • 5 drops of each essential oil. You may need to play around with these quantities, I never measure!
For more you can double the recipe. Keep in a sealed container out of the sun. Good for about 1 -2 months. Use in the tub as a soak or in the shower for a scrub~ Enjoy!

*Keep away from eyes And just be careful not to slip

There are many health benefits to the ingredients… and they smell amazing too 🙂

Epsom salts are known for their ability to draw out toxins (brought by the release of lactic acid) from the body and muscles.

Eucalyptus calms the respiratory system and has anti-inflammatory and antispasmodic properties. Lemon reduces anxiety and depression while healing wounds and improving skin quality, leaving you more energized. Peppermint soothes inflamed skin and  helps release muscle spasms. It is also energizing. Rosemary is anti-fungal, antibacterial, anti-inflammatory and antioxidant. It is good for circulation as well.

The Revive bath salts can be used as a scrub in the shower, in the morning to give you energy (you may want to add more oil for the scrub). Pour them in the tub for an evening soak, or use them mixed with warm water, in a large bowl for a foot soak. They will reduce swelling, ease pain and help you relax.

droplet Be thoughtful not to slip in the tub!
