Frequently Asked Questions

Are you open in the winter? Yes, our indoor and outdoor facilities are open  year round.
How many people can the space accommodate? We try to limit private parties to 10-12 to ensure an enjoyable and safe environment for all.
Can I use the steam room if I book a massage? If you’d like to use our hydrotherapy facilities, please book with your massage online.
Do you do couples massage? We don’t offer simultaneous couples massages but we have packages that can accommodate two people at the same time. Read more about our packages here.
What happens if I book a private session and it rains? Yes, our facilities remain open during rain and snow – if the weather is extreme look for alerts on our website or call ahead.
Can I drop in to use the facilities? As of February 1, ALL hydrotherapy sessions need to be booked ahead online (if you made reservations on the phone, we are still honoring those). There will be no walk ins.
Can I be naked? No, full bathing suits/bikinis must be worn
Is cityWell women only? No, cityWell has designated hours for both women and all genders – please click here for hours
Are towels included in hydrotherapy sessions? Community and open sessions include one towel (additional towels or robes are available to rent or bring your own!)
Are cell phones allowed at cityWell? Please leave your cell phone at home or in the lockers (you deserve a break!) and keep talking to a minimum

Bathing suit bottoms, flip flops, aromatherapy rollers and sprays, bath salts, body scrubs and eye pillows are available for purchase.

Reservations/Deposits

Reservations are recommended, walk-ins available. Any service reservation exceeding $200 requires a $100 credit card deposit. Deposits are refundable if services are cancelled 24 (though 48 is appreciated) hours before appointment.

Arrival Time

Please arrive a few minutes prior to your appointment. Late arrivals will not receive an extension of scheduled service times and will be charged for full service fees.

Cancellation/Reschedule

We require a minimum of 24 hours advance notice for cancellation/rescheduling of services. If you are within this booking time, you are already confirmed for your services and the cancellation policy will be in effect.
Without this notification you will be billed half of the scheduled service fees.

Payment Options

We accept cash and all major credit cards.

Gratuity

Tips are not required but always appreciated.

Group Reservations

For reservation of three people or more, please call us at 347-294-0100 or info@citywellbrooklyn.com ahead to ensure availability.

Personal Belongings

Please keep your valuables at home as we are not responsible for lost or stolen items.

Health Conditions

Please advise us upon booking of any allergies or health conditions, and especially if you are pregnant. Drink plenty of water prior to hydrotherapy use to prevent dehydration and If you are fasting, please alert cityWell staff and avoid extended use of any hydrotherapy. Limit your time in the steam room/hydro tub/sauna/showers to a maximum of 10 minutes at a time
